Program Summary:
Are you interested in starting a private practice as an LPC- Associate or LMFT- Associate? Are you not sure where to start but would like some one on one guidance and mentorship? You’ve come to the right place. Crave Counseling’s very own Clinic Director is offering a 4 day seminar and mentorship style training to help you get your private practice started. If you are not able to participate in all of the training dates and individual mentorship requirements of this training program, please wait to apply for a training cycle in which you can. All training dates are face to face and all mentorship sessions are virtual. As a reminder, this training is very hands-on and you will walk away with everything you need to start and run a successful practice. The program is a build upon program in which each day builds upon the next day. Our program is different in that you will actually have well over 50 takeaways and will be able feel more confident about taking the leap into private practice as an associate level provider. At the end of the training, you will walk away with a fully functioning lucrative private practice. Come fully prepared and ready to start.

Program Summary:
Day 1: On the first day of this 4 day training, participants will complete the registration of their business, create & sync company email address/calendar/EHR Software and HIPAA Compliance.
Day 2: On the second day of this 4 day training, participants will develop practice forms, conduct consultations, learn when to set boundaries around patient balances and understand the supervisor & supervisee relationship.
Day 3: Participants will be able to create and connect DUNs to business, setting rates, learn how to track expenses, connect business bank account Quickbooks, basic accounting, paying self, how to prepare for tax season and how to find the perfect CPA.
Day 4: On the fourth day of this 4 day training, participants will complete brand development & niche identification, connect social media accounts, learn how to find an office space and negotiate free months of rent, develop additional skills needed to reach first $5k a month and create and set smart goals for the next quarter.

Learning Objectives
Participates will learn or have completed the following by the end of the 4 day training program:
* Register business with the secretary of state, obtain EIN, basic tax and business accounting etiquette and understand basics of business credit.
* Understand and discuss basic private practice ethics, HIPAA for private practice and identifying red flags
* Develop a stronger supervisor & supervisee relationship, accurately track hours accurately, finding a supervisor, client record sharing for supervisee and developing boundaries within private practice.
* Develop brand, niche creation, marketing networking, setting SMART goals and reaching financial goals.
