Meet  Marlene

As we navigate the journey of life, we are faced with bumpy roads that lead to life difficulties and traumas in need of intervention, cultural sensitivity, and compassion. I’m a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor and have developed a special interest and compassion in serving individuals facing depression, anxiety, grief/loss, as well as social media induced pressures. Together, we will build a trusting foundation, establish treatment goals, and maintain understanding and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.

Therapy is an avenue towards self-discovery, self-reliance, and empowerment through interventions specialized just for you. My therapeutic approach always begins by being trauma-informed and culturally competent. Your clinical care includes but is not limited to Solution Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Whether this is your first time in therapy or a refresher it is helpful to develop honest conversations and understanding throughout the therapeutic process. I encourage communicative openness and welcome any feedback you may have throughout our sessions. Let’s begin this journey towards renewed happiness, emotional wellness and becoming your best self.
